The egg Hough value meter is QCD-Super used to measure protein height, egg weight and automatically calculate Haugh Hough unit values. Hough units This is calculated within the system when entering the egg weight and albumen height.
Components:
- QCD digital display and power supply, including RS232 interface.
- QCH protein altimeter with QCH-CB 11mm stainless steel calibration block.
- QCA-L laboratory stainless steel egg slitting table, slitting area is about 30 x 30cm.
Using graded eggs of known weight, the Haugh unit value can be obtained by referencing the egg weight and albumen height measurements collected by the QCH and displayed on the QCD, and referring to the tables provided in the system manual.
QCBi XV and QCD/QCH connect to the computer using DTL. This allows egg weight and albumen height to be automatically measured and then sent to a computer, where the Haugh unit value is calculated by Eggware software.
If required, the QCAP portable tap-off unit can be replaced with a QCAL-a laboratory tap-off unit.
